Festivals can be,

festive festivalish yeah yeah yeahs no no no’s straight out there

polite police drug driven liven

guitar struck fuck random luck

dance core DJ floors galore

cramps colored lamps lying on the ground hippies are found

water pools, brown piss smell drown and no shit

a hit or miss plastic cup bars sleeping in cars

I am not saying that Östervarv International was anything like this but I’ve visit quite a few festive’s, but festivals are festivals with or without rain.

As small as this? Yes even smaller but not as organized. Big shoot outs are one thing, this is a total different story. Ola who is the host and captain of the ship makes it happen in and around his garden. The guests creat the festival together, carpeting, bringing food, cook food, fill the bar, DJ’s, or take the stage. We only stayed one night out of three, amazing! Petit is the new giant.
